VisCom2: Icon's Find and Share
I've been loving this project so far, and am very interested to see where these icons are applied.
I ran across these excellent car commercials using similar icon-like imagery. I'm hoping some experimental stuff like this is in store for us.

And Below are just some examples of icon sets I enjoyed.

Personal Project: Wallet Book
Though a bit rough around the edges, it turned out just like I thought it would. Slips right in to the inside pockets. Just some cardboard and computer paper. Great for someone who always forgets to carry their sketchbook.
Type and Image: Photo Testing
Started taking some shots of some of the items for George Eastman's poster. Some of them turned out some interesting results. I partularly like the shots where the metal picked up a lot of the yellow and red of the Kodak box. The one shot through the viewfinder is also interesting. I might have to try shooting through my TLR's window since it's a bit larger than the Brownie's window that I shot through. I'm sure it would be a bit clearer too.
Type2: Change One Thing Posters
So AIGA is holding a poster contest, and our Type 2 class is taking a shot at it. Each person is entering their own poster. The theme is "Change One Thing", leaving the content of the poster up to you, and requiring only a banner on the bottom of the page. My poster is supporting composting.
Here are my iterations so far.
